Minimum hardware and environment specification(s):

Server Hardware

•  Intel, or compatible, Pentium computer with a 1GHz or
   higher CPU
•  A minimum of 512MB of RAM (1GB+ recommended)
•  Hard disk space of at least 1GB.
•  Detailed machine sizing is as for any other SQL
   Server database.

Client Hardware


The following specifications are for the Enterprise Improvement product only; the Microsoft Office and Visio tools have a similar computer requirement, but may require up to another 600MB of hard disk space.

•  Intel, or compatible, Pentium computer with a 1GHz or
   higher CPU (2GHz+ recommended)
•  A minimum of 512MB of RAM (1GB+ recommended)
•  Hard disk space of 100MB
•  A minimum screen size of 1024x768

Prerequisite Server Software

•  Operating System: Windows Server 2003 or XP
   Professional for small installations. This is also
   dependant upon which version of SQL Server
   is used, see Microsoft’s SQL Server requirements
   documentation for details.
•  Microsoft SQL Server 2000: Enterprise Improvement
   works with all versions
•  Internet Information Server (IIS) 6
•  .Net framework version 1.1

Prerequisite Client Software

•  Operating System: Windows XP Home or
   Professional
•  Microsoft Office 2003 - A "full" install must be
   performed (as some components are only
   installed when a full install is carried out).
•  Microsoft Visio 2003 - A "full" install must be
   performed
•  .Net framework version 1.1
